Gordon is a longstanding supporter of Comic Relief and is seriously committed to its cause.

Gordon first became involved with the charity in 2002 when he ran the London Marathon for Sport Relief and visited his first Comic Relief-funded project in Tanzania with Lenny Henry. He has also been involved in other Comic Relief projects, including running the Sport Relief Mile and appearing on A Question of Sport Relief.

More recently, Gordon has continued to visit Comic Relief projects around the world and witnessed first hand the difference the money raised by his Seriously Good sauces is making.
